People that don’t suck at Blender: Any particular way to make hair texture .vmt files with $translucent that doesn’t make the characters look like they have alopecia?

heroesfanal liked this digitalero answered: Adjust the levels of the alpha channel so that it appears more solid. Another option is to duplicate the hair and assign a different material to it. One material uses $translucent, the other uses $alphatest + a high $alphatestreference value.

nightb0y answered: you can tune alpha strengh in photoshop, or use alphatest ;)
nudekittyn answered: I’ve not done it properly myself, but I’ve had the suggestion to double the material, and have one alphatest, one translucent, to get the best hair result.
